Linnéa Talp – March 21

Linnéa Talp is a composer and musician (singer/organist), based in Stockholm. In the spring of 2022, her album Arch of Motion was released, music written for church organ, with subtle elements of instruments such as bass clarinet, voice and flute. Contributors include Mariam Wallentin (voice) and Christer Bothén (bass clarinet). The process has largely been about trying to create an expanded musical movement based on breathing and presence. In recent years, she has appeared in contexts such as Norberg Festival, Lumen Project (Sthlm), Organ Sound Art Festival (Copenhagen) and Café OTO (London), to name a few. Earlier this year, Linnéa gave a concert on the baroque organ in Skovgaardsalen (Malmö Art Museum/Inkonst), as part of their concert series Olibanum.

At Rörane Studio, Linnéa will perform newly written music, and music from Arch of Motion, reworked for pedal organ, zither and voice.
