Vilhelm Bromander Unfolding Orchestra plays music from the album In this forever unfolding moment, which was released on Thanatosis last fall. Now this music is played in a septet version. In the music, the love of free jazz and North Indian raga meets and a carefully wild music with a heartfelt and powerful expression is born. The group includes six phenomenal musicians, and it is in the meeting with their voices and devotion that the music has become what it is – collective, full of spirit, hope, care and resistance.
The album ended up in the Down Beats Top 10 for 2023 and the group won the title “Jazz of the Year 2023” at the Manifestgalan.
The motivation states “A brave project with several of Sweden’s most exciting musicians. Adventurous and enjoyable at the same time. Exploration with a clear direction in all directions. A whole new universe unfolds.”
